Not all hubs comply 100% with the standard. In order to avoid having to use too many spacers on the brake caliper due to the brake disc being too far inside, there are spacers/disc shims. These are mounted between the hub and the brake disc and allow for exact centering of the disc between the brake pads. In addition, annoying grinding noises when using multiple wheelsets are a thing of the past, as each wheelset can be individually adjusted using disc shims.

Our spacers are made of stainless steel and available in thicknesses: 0,5 / 1,0 / 1,5 and 2mm. Our disc shims / spacers are available for the following standard shots / hubs:

- 6-Hole Hubs (IS2000)
- 4-Hole Rohloff Speedhub
- 4-Hole Coda Hubs and
- 6-Hole BionX IGH

If your Disc Shims / Spacer is needed for other hubs or in other thicknesses, then simply come to us. As we develop and manufacture these ourselves, implementation is possible within a short time without problems.
