Product information "UMM SrG Metrop - Sram medium: Guide"

The UMM LONGLIFE SZD Metrop disc brake pad is a high-performance organic brake pad with no metallic components—designed for high braking performance in daily use, reliable deceleration under heavy loads, and a long service life.

Ideal for:

City bikes & pedelecs in daily use

E-bikes with high weight and higher speeds

Cargo bikes in urban and slightly hilly terrain

Features at a glance:

Metal-free pad compound: Heat remains in the rotor longer, meaning less maintenance (bleeding, fixing piston sticking) of the brake calipers due to lower temperature fluctuations

High abrasion resistance: Less wear even with frequent use

Increased pad thickness: More material for longer service life and consistent performance

Short break-in period: Fully operational after 15–30 braking cycles

Optimized for commuters: Weather-resistant, does not rust

Sustainability

Manufactured in Saxony, Germany—short supply chains, controlled manufacturing conditions, and resource-efficient, high-quality production.
