The Norwegian Kindernay gear hubs are available in two versions - the XIV with 14 gears and the VII with 7 gears.

The 14-speed hub is the chronologically first model and so far only the proprietary, Kindernay-owned brake discs in diameters 173, 193 and 216mm have been available for this.

These “crooked” numbers arise because a postmount is required for the torque arm of the gear hub, which increases the standard dimensions of 160, 180 and 203mm by 13mm each. For the XIV hub, we have developed a high-performance brake disc in a new design based on our tried-and-tested Punch Disc and are now offering a further brake disc option for the Kinderay user for the first time!
These Kinderay XIV discs with the special 7-hole connection can be exchanged simply plug + play for the standard discs without any further adaptations.

So that interested Kindernay XIV users can also drive the same disc design on the front axle, this specific design has been adapted to the well-known 6-hole standard connection IS2000 and is also available in various standard diameters.
